Web Persephone: Marker export
In addition to the common export options, Markers provide the following sets of columns for export:
- Basic properties: includes all of the properties of the marker, including its name and marker type.
- Primary Name: the preferred name of this marker.
- Other Names: any other names that may have been loaded for this marker, as a comma-delimited list. Each name is prefixed by its name type that indicates the source of the name, e.g. "ClinVarId: 487628".
- Sequence: lists all the sequences associated with the marker.
- Genomic sequence: the genomic sequence covered by the marker; available only if the marker is located on a physical map.
- Start..End: exports marker coordinates (in bp or cM) as a single value, e.g. "2759..7959". This value can be pasted directly into e.g. the Go To dialog.
- Mapping: lists metadata properties of the mapping, detailing the reasons why this marker was mapped to this particular map. Note that the same marker can be located on multiple maps.
Output file formats
At present, markers can only be exported as CSV or FASTA. Note that you must select one (or more) of the marker's sequences in the column chooser before you can use it for FASTA export.
