Besides loading marker tracks from delimited text files, you can also use GFF files as the source for marker data. We distinguish two modes of loading the markers.

1. Marker information only. The markers themselves, as objects that can be mapped onto different genomic locations, can be loaded without any mapping information. This mode can also be used to add information to the markers that have already been loaded and mapped. The nature of GFF files requires having the mapping coordinates in column 3 and 4, so this mode is not suitable for loading unmapped marker information from GFF files.

2. Information on markers and their mapping.

Please see this page from the use case with more details on loading markers with mapping from GFF files.
