The Quantitative Trait Loci (QTLs) are loaded into the database preserving their original publications, which we call studies. A study is linked to its source, organism, and treatment and usually contains multiple QTLs. Each QTL is linked to a trait which is associated with a node in the Trait Ontology.

When you first click the QTLs tab it will open the QTL Browser, which is used to browse/search through traits to find studies and thus QTLs mapped onto a genome (chromosomes or linkage groups). Click the links below for more information.
